The Community of South Shores is located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in San Pedro between Rancho Palos Verdes and Long Beach. It commonly thought to be comprised to 2 parts: Upper & Lower South Shores.

Upper South Shores is north of W 25th Street and Lower South Shores is south of W 25th Street.
