Lately, a number of our South Shores CyberWatch members have been asking about the Portuguese Bend land movement and related slides in that area.  It’s a fact that we share the same topography in an area just hiking distance away.

 

I’d like to share with you this brief video that presents a very clear picture of the current slide situation and options for consideration in the near future.  

 

This very thoughtful video was produced by our CyberWatch “counterpart” in RPV, Herb Stark.  Herb lives in the Seaview section of PV South, very near the slide’s border.  Herb and I have been sharing each other’s respective neighborhood crime info for a number of years.

 

 

I hope this answers a number of questions that have arisen from this unprecedented seismic event.
